Rebecca Mmesina Agelle is an experienced community development expert who joined Agriterra in October 2023 as a Cooperative Advisor. Rebecca holds a Masters in Business Administration, BA in Integrated Development Studies, Certificate in Climate Advocacy and Certificate in Supervisory Management.
Before joining Agriterra in Ghana, Rebecca worked in the financial sector providing access to finance to mostly rural and peri urban inhabitants in Ghana.
Rebecca has had the privilege of working with cocoa buying companies, local and international NGOs in various capacity as a project facilitator, project officer and project coordinator.
For the past decade in the development sector Rebecca has harnessed unique experience administering community development programs, facilitating community and stakeholder engagements, financial inclusion, women economic empowerment initiatives, working with Traditional Authorities, persons living with HIV & AIDS, cocoa farming communities, farmer groups, cooperatives and women groups.
She is committed to fostering inclusion in communities, building communities capacity in accessing finance, promoting women and youth empowerment, adoption of new technologies and use of local resources in promoting sustainable development
