Moses Ogenche

Moses Ogenche is an experienced agribusiness professional with a rich background spanning over 20 years with Bsc. in Agricultural Economics. His expertise encompasses various aspects of agribusiness, including value chain analysis, management, enterprise development, as well as project management. Additionally, he has significant experience in initiatives aimed at making markets work for the poor and farmer organisational management.

Until recently, Moses has been working as a Head of Project at Welthungerhilfe, where he was supporting the implementation and coordination of the project funded by DANIDA. He was overseeing strategic planning, resource allocation, stakeholder engagement, and overall project execution. in addressing the complex challenges related to climate resilience, livelihoods, and adaptation in the target regions of Kenya and Ethiopia.

Moses has also worked with Sustainet Consulting Group as Project Implementation Manager (2021-23), Welthungerhilfe as a Project Manager coordinating project in Western Kenya funded by BMZ and GIZ(2016-2021), Cereal Growers Association (CGA) and a Field Coordinator supporting USAID funded project in North Rift (2015), Millennium Villages Project as Enterprise and Cooperative Development Manager (2012-2013),Deputy Program Manager at Techno Serve Inc (2005-2011), Field Business Coordinator at FIPS- Africa (2003-2005) and a Field officer at SCODP (2000-2003).

He has been instrumental in designing and executing innovative solutions which leverages technology, data, and best practices to address the complex challenges and opportunities within agricultural value chains for farmers.
