Emile Agaba

Emile is  a Ugandan male, attributed with self-motivation, teamwork, honesty and good communication. He is trained, experienced and interested in general business management and advisory, community mobilisation and providing sustainable business solutions to small holder farmers to end hunger and poverty. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration-Accounting from Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) Uganda and a Post Graduate Certification in Internal Auditing –CIA from Multitech Business School (MBS)-Uganda. He is currently working for Agriterra as Business Advisor in Uganda aiming to professionalise the functioning of  farmer cooperatives by enhancing their business development and improving their entrepreneural skills.
 
He previously worked as a Field Operations Officer in Uganda Crane Creameries Cooperative union on the dairy Value Chain Development Project where he supported Dairy cooperative societies  grow their businesses; linked them to markets and created enabling avenues for them to access business development services for increased production.
 
He has also supported the development of several other value chains  when he worked on  the East African Dairy development  (EADD) project as Business Advisor at Techno Serve Inc. where he lead the business team and built strong Dairy cooperative societies’ businesses in Central, Eastern and Western Uganda.
He is a result oriented and an analytical team player who believes that farmers’ associations and cooperatives can have a positive influence on development through speeding up the process, and ensuring a more equal distribution of income and an enhancement of democratic decision-making and relations.
