Role of cooperative managers in strategy formulation
Not so long ago, Agriterra planned a program for cooperative managers from developing parts of the world dubbed “Masterclass cooperative management”. The program was meant to empower the selected participants and give them the necessary tools to enable them steer their respective cooperatives to greater heights in the near future. Young farmers on the IDF World Dairy Summit 2016
In the week of 16 October, the eyes of the international dairy sector were on Rotterdam, where the IDF World Dairy Summit 2016 was organised. All stakeholders – farmers, processors, government bodies, and universities were present, as well as Agriterra and a delegation of young farmers. These farmers were invited by Agriterra to the Netherlands in light of the Small Farmers Big Deal campaign. The last period was the most exciting of the internship. Eating real local food (or maybe refusing it), having meetings with officials of different organisations and joining an Agripool mission: a fantastic opportunity to see another side of Vietnam. We have been to two different provinces: Quang Ninh (in the North of Vietnam) and Quang Nam (central Vietnam).
