Compilation of the Agriterra 20-year-anniversary celebration

Our employees from all around the world stayed in small teams from 8th until the 9th of December on different farms to exchange knowledge in agriculture and get a real insight to Dutch farming, all under the motto: ‘keep on farming’

An insight to the everyday life from an Agriterra intern in Zambia
For my internship at Agriterra I am working in Zambia with a farmer’s association called ‘the Nyimba District Farmers Association’ or NDFA. The NDFA is an association which delivers a wide variety of services, from providing input to educating farmers on matters such as climate smart agriculture and record keeping.

The Vietnamese exchange week in the Netherlands
In the final conclusion of the exchange visit from 21st to 28th November, the Vietnamese delegation stated the importance of a future collaboration with Agriterra and the pioneering experience and knowledge that was gained during the week. In general, the exchange week focused on Cooperative development and technology, access to finance for cooperatives and land consolidation.

Agriterra modernises cooperatives in Ethiopia
Yesterday, Tuesday 21st November, Director Kees Blokland of Agriterra signed an agreement with the Ethiopian Ministry of Agriculture to modernise and strengthen the cooperative sector. Ethiopia has around 381 cooperative Unions and more than 80,000 cooperatives.
