Masterclass Cooperative management
In first week of October, a selected groups of managers will participate in Agriterra’s Masterclass Cooperative management, a cooperative managers’ study tour to the Netherlands. The delegation consists of 12 managers of cooperatives (or union of cooperatives) supported by Agriterra in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Read more
Lots of opportunities in Zambia!
Within the scope of Nicole Sloot's internship and project, which concerns product and service development for youth participation at cooperatives and farmer's organisations, she got the opportunity to go to Zambia and join the Youth Agriculture Event on the 1st and 2nd of September. Together with Iris Bouwers, international representative of NAJK, she travelled from Amsterdam to Lusaka on the 29th of August.

Agriterra visits maize cooperative in Rwanda
In April 2016 Agriterra’s East Africa team has opened up an office in Kigali, Rwanda, in order to expand its working area to the African Great Lakes Region. Since April, Agriterra has explored various value chains and has analysed the business cases of dozens of agricultural cooperatives in the Eastern part of DR Congo and Rwanda.
